I’m an English teacher, what did you expect?!

I’m just looking, of course! 😉 Everyone knows that I have nerves of steel when it comes to not buying books…

{…30 minutes later…}

🎶  Well, I fooled around and bought some books… 🎶  For preparing for next year, so completely justified, of course! 😀

    I can totally relate since most of my career was as a high school English teacher, then ended up in special ed., exchanging paper grading for IEPs. The love of books is a healthy addiction.

    Simply a professionally sound purchase without doubt. My older brother introduced me to this place. He paid, so I restrained myself. Still, books in poetry, young-adult literature, and religion. And a mystery-movie anthology. It’s so helpful and valuable that you’re trained to respond to learners with challenges. I deal with everyone, which sometimes has me wonder if I’m reaching anyone. Enjoy your purchases, you know, solely for work!

      I think you’re probably reaching more than you know. I’ve found that if you genuinely care, then that means more to the kids than almost anything else.
