Baked Pesto Chicken

While scrolling through Facebook the other day, I came across this delicious treat!

Here’s what I did differently…


I didn’t have chicken tenders; instead I cut three medium breasts into strips (6 pieces in total).

I did not have Mozzarella, but thought I’d give this recipe a go using Havarti – delicious!

Instead of an”Italian Seasoning” mix, I used Oregano and Basil and a smidgen of Garlic powder.


I covered the pan with foil and baked it for about 40 minutes.

Then I baked it uncovered for 5-10 more minutes.

My entire home smelled like I’d imported everything Italy.


I served it with some pasta.

For the pasta, all I did was add about a half stick of unsalted butter, parmesan cheese, and some dried parsley.

Now, I’ve made a lot of tasty dishes, but this one is one of the best — and it’s so simple!

Can’t wait for the leftovers! 😀
