Today’s Find: Tolkien’s “The Fall of Arthur”

Last night as I was watching the first episodes of the third season of Game of Thrones (yes, I know I’m behind), one of the minor characters took a crack at King Arthur. Today, as I’m perusing the shelves of my local Half Priced Bookstore, I came across this gem:

First, I cannot believe I bought a hardback book. For some reason, I loathe them. But apparently not as much as I love Tolkien and King Arthur.

To be honest, I didn’t even know that he wrote about Arthur, but I can’t really say I’m surprised.

Second, I thoroughly enjoyed his take on Beowulf (which I read in a few hours on a plane a few years ago) and am excited to see how his prose makes me feel about one of my favorite legends.
